Estee Lauder buys Too Faced and Becca

So in the last couple of weeks, Estee Lauder has acquired both Becca Cosmetics and Too Faced.

Obviously this is bad news for those who prefer not to buy from cruelty free companies with parent companies that test on animals, as pretty much all of the EL brands are distributed in mainland China, where testing is still mandatory.

Both brands say they will stay out of China and remain cruelty free, but I for one will be keeping my eye on them, as Estee Lauder have a history of taking previously cruelty free brands into China.

What do you think about this? I am happy to continue to support Becca and Too Faced for now, as long as they stay cruelty free and don't follow the lead of other Lauder brands.

Both brands have now been denoted as having a parent company that tests on my cruelty free brands list.
